Learning bass guitar simple and fun. The bass is used to bridge the gap between the rhythm section and the lead instrument. It adds a layer of melody to the beat laid down by the drummer as well as driving on the guitarists and singers with thumping rhythms. To play a bass guitar, you have to practice the right hand technique just as much as the left hand. With particular focus on the rhythms created by the right hand and how each rhythm changes tempo to complement the drummer.
